When our poodle Alfie wouldn't touch anything store-bought, we started cutting and dehydrating treats ourselves. Friends asked. Their dogs asked. Pooches Pantry was born — built on one rule: what goes in our own dogs goes in yours.

Every treat is made from one simple protein and one simple veg. That's it - no fillers, preservatives, grains, additives, or artificial ingredients. What's on the label is what's in the pouch.
Veg isn't a filler - it's a real ingredient. Pumpkin brings soluble fibre and natural sweetness. Sweet potato adds texture and slow-release carbohydrate. Carrot brings fibre and a sweetness fussy dogs love.
One simple protein plus one simple veg - and still nothing else added.
Every treat is approximately 65% protein and 35% vegetable by weight - enough veg to matter, while keeping the protein dominant so it's still a reward your dog actually wants.
Absolutely. All Pooches Pantry products - including our dehydrated treats and bone broth - are handcrafted in small batches to ensure freshness, quality, and consistency.
We use simple protein and simple vegetables sourced from trusted Australian suppliers - the same supply chain as your local butcher and greengrocer.
Our treats are hand-prepared and slow dehydrated in small weekly batches at low temperatures.
Slow-cooked for 24 hours in small batches using fresh Australian grass-fed bones, organic apple cider vinegar, zucchini, carrot and parsley - no fillers, preservatives, salt or onion.
Every batch is then hand-strained, chilled in the fridge for several hours, and the solid fat cap is lifted off by hand before pouching. That extra day of work is why our broth pours rich and clear.
Small batch production means fresher products, better quality control, and food made with genuine care - never mass-produced or sitting on shelves.
Our products are designed for most dogs, but always supervise your pet and introduce new proteins gradually, especially if they have sensitivities.
Our protein is cat-safe, but our treats also include pumpkin and sweet potato - cats are obligate carnivores and don't really need veg. A small taste won't harm a cat, but our treats are formulated for dogs, not cats.
Keep treats sealed in a cool, dry place. We recommend the fridge for up to 4 weeks, or the pantry for up to 2 weeks.
Keep refrigerated immediately and use within 5 days, or freeze in ice blocks and use as needed.
Dehydrated treats can be shipped Australia-wide.
Our small-batch fresh bone broth is local delivery only — Saturday mornings to postcode 3181.
Every dog is different - it depends on your dog's weight, exercise level and overall diet. As a guide, treats should make up no more than 10% of daily calorie intake.
The simplest rule we use ourselves: watch output vs input. If your dog's tummy or stools change, ease back. Every dog is different - always supervise treat time.
Because every treat is one simple protein and one simple veg. No fillers, no shortcuts. Hand-made in our Melbourne kitchen by people who feed it to their own dogs first.
